Our Services

At Whitestone Food Service Design we work with you every step of the way to design and build dining establishments that serve those who serve.

Design and Development.

Our firm works from a hands-on perspective during development/design in a collaborative method with owners, architects.  We also integrate our services with the civil and engineering disciplines throughout all design processes.  Every project we work on we look at our niche in the team perspective regarding goals, deadlines and an exceptional design experience.

Schedule Management.

We will collate all mechanical, electrical and plumbing information in plan and cut sheet form for the following:

  • All engineers on our team will be given specific information regarding the food service and bar equipment.

  • Architects will be able to cross check the work I provide and engineers for proper across the board specifying.

  • This will include any walk-in unit and hood system.

  • Client will be confident to disburse drawings to contractors and subcontractors, as well as, equipment suppliers for bid purposes.

Negotiation.

Many times, our clients are either inexperienced or quite simply don’t have time to negotiate with three bidders of the food service equipment. Whitestone has acted many times as the liaison or intermediary between owner and the equipment companies.  Other than the obvious notion of the owner having more time to be the figure head or run their project by employing Whitestone the owner also maintains an air of anonymity.  Essentially the owner isn’t inundated with “salesmen” calling, emailing or stopping by to “seal the deal.”  This is the largest growing part of Whitestone’s business platform.

Oversight.

Nearing job completion with all equipment set in place and made ready to go.  We will perform a walk-through service verifying the proper equipment, proper installation, specific approved manufactures and any issues that need to be addressed.  These may include installation, damage, proper disconnects, filtration and any other part of the project scope that may have been missed or overlooked by the equipment supplier.
