Whitestone Food Service Design is a consulting firm covering the southeastern United States. Whitestone primarily works within kitchens, bars, serveries, and dining areas. Additionally, our design disciplines include commercial food service establishments, hotels, restaurants, universities, stadiums, local and county school systems.
We have multiple years working in the food service industry and are quite adept with knowledge of codes, restrictions, feasibility of design, longevity and technology.
We work hands on with clients who may be expanding an existing location or building something new for the first time. We tandem with our clientele the process of receiving product, store product, break it down, holding it, prepare it and serve the food made ready for their customers. It isn’t rocket science, but we pride ourselves in knowing how to perform the above process and then cultivate all the area needed to make this happen. For example, the support areas are bulk and usage refrigeration, prep space, dry storage space, hood design, expo, ice storage, wait areas and dish/clean-up.
Another facet often overlooked are bar areas and beverage support. Profit margins of poured liquid in establishments are of the highest and too many times not given proper recognition for design and flow. Again, design needs to encompass and cultivate stretching dollars and increasing profits for our clients.
There are many parameters to achieve the above goals, since nothing is ever perfect, our team strives to get as near to this as possible.
